Let me give an example to make Sunita’s nature more clearly to the readers. Most of us have seen the movie multiple times. And after seeing it many of us discussed about the morale of the story and the mischief of Amir Khan and his friends. Many of us will be able to recite the definition of book given by Amir Khan. However imagine the book ‘Three Idiots’ was the text book for class twelve. In the examination they ask us to write 15 sentences about character of Rancho (Amir Khan) or explanation of the name Virus for the principal. The entire student group would say the questions were too difficult. Akash explained this to Sunita. At that time Three Idiots were not made. Akash mentioned the cinema ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’ for this purpose. This movie was seen by both of them but in different language.

Akash also explained her reason of our tiredness after some work or study. But none of us get tired of playing. We also never get tired of doing what is our hobby or passion. When we do something by heart and with passion, the job becomes easier and better. And if the same job comes to as Task, then it takes lot more effort and time. Therefore we should accept the most important job as our passion and not as task. Sunita never heard anything like this ever in her life. So she started convincing herself that study was a passion or hobby for her. Very soon she was one of the best students in the class.

But Sunita could never ask the reason of her faith on Akash. Sunita’s mother replied that she wanted them to be married. And just to make sure that Akash never leave Sunita she allowed them to go to the ultimate. Sunita again asked her why she liked Akash.

Sunita’s mother kept quiet for some time and then said, “In my younger days I used to love a Bengali boy but as he was leaving in a faraway place my parents did not approve our marriage. Although I am happy with your father, till date I could not forget my first love. So when you also loved a Bengali boy, I was very much happy. You father knows about my first love and therefore he also accepted Akash.”
Sunita was surprised on seeing tears in her mother’s eyes. After so many years also she had not forgotten her first love. Her friends also did not know anything. Rajan drove the jeep for around fifteen minutes and stood in front of a old building. Rajan asked all the persons to come out. Sunita was more surprised on seeing her father waiting there. She was looking around and suddenly saw a signboard in front of the building, “MARRIAGE REGISTRATION OFFICE”.

Sunita indicated that signboard to her friends. Rest of all also noticed the board. Akash and Rajan were smiling. Sunita’s parents had expression of complete accomplishment. Sunita looked at Akash with joy, surprise and eagerness. Akash embraced her in front of everybody and told, “My dear queen I want to marry you now.” Dibya and Latha started giggling with joy. Rajan requested everyone to go to the office upstairs. Rajan had completed all the arrangements. First Sunita’s parents walked into the registration office. Sunita and Akash followed them. And finally rest of all walked in the office. Sunita was almost choked with the feeling of greatest joy of life and was not able to speak.

After entering the registration office she sat with a thud on a chair and looked blank. Dibya and Latha asked her why she looked so dumb. Sunita started crying loudly. Sunita’s mother kept hand on her head and tried to console her or control her. But Sunita continued crying. Meena took her hand in his grip and caressed her face. Everyone was stunned with Sunita’s outburst. Dibya sat on the next chair and Sunita kept her face on her lap. After sometime Sunita controlled herself and started weeping, “Everyone is bad, my mother is bad, my father is bad. I will not talk to anyone. Akash does not love me at all. He may marry me but I will not go along with him. How on earth you can keep this as a secret to me?”

Then everybody understood the reason of her crying. Her mother took her face, wiped her tears. Then she asked slowly, “Are you happy baby?” Sunita gave a small reply, “Yes, very much.”

Akash came with a diamond ring, sat in front of Sunita on his knees and asked, “Goddess Sunita, will you be my wife and live with me forever?”

Sunita replied, “I do not know! I am feeling shy to answer in front of all.”
Akash kept waiting in the same place. Sunita replied again, “I am waiting for you only my lord. I am waiting for you to take me along.”

The manager of the marriage bureau came and completed all the formalities. Akash and Sunita signed the marriage form. As witness Rajan and Dibya signed from Akash’s side. Sunita’s parents signed from her side. Rajan and Dibya brought two garlands and gave to them. Akash and Sunita exchanged garlands. Then Akash and Sunita touched the feet of her parents. They blessed the new couple. Sunita’s father spoke with tears in his eyes, “I am giving my only piece of diamond to you. Please take care of her, my son.” Akash silently accepted his words. Rajan came and congratulated both of them. Then one by one everyone embraced the couple and prayed for a long happy life together. Akash took Meena in his lap and asked how he is feeling. Meena replied, “I knew since the first day what my didi wanted. When I told her that you look very smart and like a hero, she had replied that hero my foot! You look foolish and only read book. I understood from her voice what she wanted. That was the reason I came to talk to you and took you to my didi.”

Before Akash reacted Sunita stormed in his embrace and started kissing his lips. Akash also held Sunita closely. They kissed for about five minutes. Then Sunita exclaimed,” I never imagined that you will make me happy like this. I will be with you forever.”

Akash held her hand and started climbing down the stairs. He said, “I will always hold your hands like this.”

Everybody sat together in the jeep. They first went to a temple and prayed to the god. The priest blessed the couple. When everyone finished their prayer it was night 8 o’clock. Rajan took everyone to hotel Casino. Everyone had dinner with Bengali style fish and mutton dishes.

Till now Akash and Sunita were almost quiet. On the way back Akash informed everyone his plan. He said, “I will be here for ten days. Form here I will go to Kolkata directly. I will come here once in every three months or so. I will try to arrange some work in the office here. After Sunita completes her graduation I will take to her to my home. I will also try to bring my parents once here in Palakkad.” Sunita was very happy. In fact everyone was happy with Akash. After reaching home Rajan took Akash and Sunita to their room, earlier it was Sunita’s room. They saw the bed and the whole room were decorated with flowers. Akash also did not know about this arrangement.

Rajan said it was his gift to the new couple. In some movie he saw this kind of decoration in Bengali marriage. He had tried to decorate the room in that way with a hope that their life will be always as beautiful as flowers. Both Akash and Sunita were overwhelmed. Then they went out, touched the feet of parents. Thyn again blessed the couple. Both akash and sunita took Meena in their lap and kissed him. Meena said, “I like my Jijajee very much.”

Rajan, Dibya and Latha took Akash and Sunita to the flower room. Ask them to sit side by side on the bed. Rajan told them that they can do anything with each other. Latha said, “Akash brother, tonight there is no goalkeeper in front of the goalpost. Tomorrow I will ask you how many goals you could score.”
